Today is #WorldEnvironmentDay, and the stories of people and businesses all around the world trying to go paperless abound, each of which can serve as a source of inspiration for all of us.
We count ourselves extremely fortunate to be in a position that enables us to contribute to this cause, and moments like these allow us to take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve gone in this endeavour. We are overjoyed and ecstatic to have been of assistance to millions of people as well as businesses of varying sizes in their efforts to conserve over 60 million sheets of paper and prevent the clearing of over 295 acres of forest.
At Signeasy, we make it a priority to act in a way that serves a greater cause, eliminate unnecessary details, and get as fundamental as we can. As part of our vision, we want to play a part in getting rid of paper everywhere in the globe while also ensuring that we do the same thing for ourselves first.
In the interest of bringing people closer to the natural world, we came to the conclusion that the best way to commemorate this event would be to institute a novel practise into both the culture of our business and the manner in which we welcome new employees. This will ensure that new employees are acquainted with the paperless vision of our organisation from the very beginning of their employment. Moving ahead, we would commemorate the addition of a new team member by presenting them with a gift personally selected by mother earth.
Every new coworker will now be presented (or perhaps they won’t be, if they’re reading this ) with a miniature terrarium that bears a meaningful sign; this particular terrarium represents the concepts of growth, sustainability, and freedom. When given proper attention and care, plants are able to flourish; at Signeasy, we recognise the importance of instilling this same culture in our staff members. A culture of care, mutual understanding, and support, so that everyone can develop at the same rate and in the same direction. We also place a high value on acting in a manner that is environmentally responsible. This can take the form of being selective in the employees we bring on board so that we can guarantee that everyone will be able to integrate themselves naturally into the culture of the company, or it can take the form of developing a product that reduces the amount of paper used and assists in the preservation of our natural resources for a more sustainable future. Terrariums are not only simple to care for, but they are also stunning works of art. Most significantly, however, they allow you the opportunity to bring plants inside your home and keep a connection with the natural world even while you are living in an urban setting. They are such a perfect example of our core beliefs that they serve as an excellent conduit via which we can impart those beliefs to newer members of our team.
