WhatsApp is now used by approximately every seventh person on the planet to interact with other individuals and groups of people. And, while many individuals use it for social purposes, this messaging program is a natural fit for the workplace, whether it’s for sharing emoji stories or corporate communications.
As businesses, small company professionals, and individual professionals began to rely more and more on WhatsApp for business purposes, the question “How can I send documents using WhatsApp?” became increasingly common. The folks at WhatsApp provided an answer to this issue earlier this month when they introduced an in-app document sharing option to their service.
While this is certainly exciting news, there’s something even more exciting to come! In case you’re wondering how this works, remember our iOS 8 extension? SignEasy users on iOS may now sign documents received via WhatsApp using their SignEasy electronic signature without having to leave the program.
Using WhatsApp, you can send a signature in the following ways:
Open the document you received via WhatsApp, tap on the ‘Open in’ icon in the top right-hand corner, and then select the Sign with SignEasy option from the drop-down menu that appears.
Sign the document: After that, tap the signature symbol, create your signature, and position it on the page where you want it. You can also include more information such as your name, the date, and other fields. To complete the process, click Done. The document will also be stored in your SignEasy account, as well as a copy of the document.
Send: On the subsequent screen, pick ‘Open in’ and then WhatsApp from the drop-down menu. Voila! The signed paper will be effortlessly shared with the other participants in the same ongoing discussion.
End-to-end encryption is now used to protect the messages you send on this platform, so you won’t have to worry about your personal information being compromised when you share documents using WhatsApp.
It’s not that difficult, is it? That’s exactly the level of ease you can expect when you begin using SignEasy to sign your documents.
